Hunting for Capercaillie and Black Cock

In Dalarne we go shooting for Capercaillie, Blackcock and Grey Hen as well as rabbits and beavers. This area has some of the highest density of birds in the whole of Scandinavia.

Capercaillie and Black grouse shooting season;
starts on the 25th of August.

We use shot gun and standing dogs as well as rough shooting.

Later on in the autumn when the leaves has fallen from the trees, we offer barking at bay shooting with rifle and barking dogs.

Barking at bay shooting season;
starts on the 16th of November.

Accommodation in small cabins.

Weapons must be adjusted for shooting range of 150-180 meters. To be controlled at the shooting range on the first day of hunting.

Price per person with guide
5 days (4 days of hunting) NOK 8.000

Prices includes accommodation, food, local hunting license and national hunting license.
