Reindeerhunting in Norway

”Hardangervidda” is the name of the mountainous area, in the
middle of Norway, where we offer an exiting hunt for the wild Reindeer. For more than 9000 years they have inhabited this
region, and for the same period of time man has hunted it.
One can still find reminiscence of hunting-pits and rock-fences
from the early settlers of the iron age. Here you experience wild
and beautiful nature on ”the roof of Norway”, and here you get
your exclusive trophy..

We offer hunting for Female Reindeer (they also have big antlers) and Male Reindeer. It is a 6 day trip, with 5 days of hunting. The season is from Aug 20 to Sept 15 and the area is approximately 3.000 hectars. There is a narrow dirtroad leading in to the terrain, which makes it easier to carry the game out. You live in cottages (5 or 7 beds) a short distance down the valley. The system is selfcatering, and you can buy all you need in the nearby village.
