African Eden Safaris (AES) is a full service safari company offering budget safaris in various concessions across South Africa.
Since 1990, the hunting safari parent company of AES, Wambiri Hunting Safaris (WHS) has been offering hunting safaris on a bona fide basis in all the different and distinctive landscape types (biomes and ecozones) of Southern Africa, with extensive experience in hunting all the huntable species of Southern Africa.
In 1991 already, WHS identified the need to offer lower cost, more basic hunting safaris to clients, especially young hunters, who wanted to come to Africa, but whose finances kept them from doing so. WHS then started to offer a certain number of low cost, more basic safaris (budget safaris) to groups of hunters on an annual basis, that would otherwise not be able to afford to come to Africa. These safaris proved to be very popular, and many of those budget hunters are now doing normal full-scale safaris with WHS.
Over the years the demand for budget safaris became bigger and bigger. To cope with the combined and increased demand for both kinds of safaris, e.g. normal full-scale safaris and budget safaris, it was decided to start AES as a full service company concentrating exclusively on budget safaris.
The hunts offered by AES are therefore ideally for first-timers to Africa, but also for hunters working on a tight or limited budget.
All our hunts are offered in the true tradition of African hunting, fair-chase on foot, mostly doing tracking or on a walk and stalk basis. It is our aim to lay a strong hunting foundation for African conditions and game. We therefore try to involve the client as much as possible during the hunting process in order to teach him/her the various hunting techniques we employ to hunt the different species of animals. This will surely be a very enriching experience, and it is the main reason why a large percentage of our clients are coming to hunt with us year after year. This approach develops the attitude and skills of young and /or less experienced hunters and is proving immensely popular as a fringe benefit to the safari itself. It also prepares the hunter for more challenging hunts which he or she might want to embark on in future.
Once you have tasted the water of Africa, and you have hunted with us, you will always long to come back for your next safari with us.
