Challenging hunting in Norway’s forests. Hunting for big game, our Scandinavian moose (the local name for moose is elk.), using loose elk hound is a most challenging way of hunting. This incredibly exciting form of hunting places big demands on both hunters and dogs. We expect the best from our guides, who have long experience in this type of hunting, as well as from our dogs. The concern’s aim is to provide our guests with the experience of a lifetime with the forest as a background and the game as the focus. Normally we do not use agents, but deal directly with the interested parties. The price depends on factors such as the length of stay, accommodation, the degree of service required, and the choice of game to be felled. Our concept is an excellent alternative should you wish to establish an even better rapport with a deserving customer. We expect our guests to provide the necessary documentation and permits and to bring their own weapons. Suitable clothing is a prerequisite for a successful experience! Products and prices Moose from Øyangen Hunting cabin. Accommodations in our spacious cabin in beautiful surroundings by Lake Øyangen. You will have a cook to provide delicious traditional meals. Our guides are there to help and advise you. Prices: 1 days hunting = 10.000 NOK / 1.250 € The price includes full pension, personal guide with sufficient number of excellent dogs, hunting license and all transport within the hunting area, per person per day. Trophies extra. There is an extra trophy fee if you shoot a bull with large antlers. They will be measured and certified by an authorised judge, mounted and delivered to the hunter.
